I learned rather less about Histoire de Melody Nelson than I thought I would, but way more about Serge Gainsbourg (1928-1991), who in the years since his death seems like the most protean and exemplary postmodern talent of the 20th century.It used to be that the 33 1/3 series was really decisive and they would publish no more than one record by any artist not matter how many good ones the artist or group had issued. I am not Catholic and only remotely Irish, but I loved this book. They have very good, clear notations, the arrangements are really well presented and put together, the fingering recommendations are the best I've seen (with the little numbers by the notes), and the biographical information and performance recommendations are a nice touch.I only wish they had more books in the series.This Mozart book is a good starter for someone who hasn't played Mozart before, and is looking to get better acquainted with his music.. I am not disappointed. The colors and textures of the food just pop! The pictures are a great incentive to prepare the dishes with the same style and artistry of the author.I will make special mention of a few of the recipes that we have tried so far. Unfortunately the typing is rather small, that makes it unfortun
